Rare conditions could have conspired to create hard-to-see ice on the Sea of Galilee that a person could have walked on back when Jesus is said to have walked on water, a scientist said today.

It still would have cracked if he weren’t Jesus. But if this is true, those 4 dudes who wrote the Bible didn’t get their facts straight.

There were 40 gospels originally, Grace. Every time another one is discovered it is decried as a heresy by those whose power relies on their ability to control and manipulate the strict interpretation that they propound.
That said, ice *slapping forehead* - the cheeky rascal... I knew there must have been a trick to it... now - if scientists can just come up with the rare conditions that allowed immaculate conception... (”oh no, really, we didn’t do anything, I swear”) - although the fact that the scholars of the Septuagint who translated the bible from Hebrew to ancient Greek could have been said to have started something big when they mistranslated a word in the expression ”a young woman shall bear a child” to ”a virgin shall bear a child” due to the possible ambiguity of the two significant words in the translation process... well... anyway... feel like iceskating, anyone ?
